Barn Conversion,

silver|story were invited to design a barn conversion and how the barn links to an existing farmhouse and adjacent annexe building.
Working closely with the client, silver|story were able to identify the family's needs and with some simple internal reconfiguration were able to help create the dramatic, double height kitchen at the heart of the house. How this linked to the adjacent farmhouse and annexe building was both integral to the scheme but also to allow the phasing of the building work to be carried out in distinct sections while the family continues to live at the property.
This project completed in 2019.
